The trail takes you to the Hahnfels, with stunning views of the Wasgau, then to the Schafsteine and over the Kahlenberg to the Alt-Dahn castle complex. The way back is a leisurely stroll along the scenic pond to the source of the Eibach and the waterfall, returning to the starting point.
