Then the colorful stalls in the town center, the atmospheric music in the alleyways and an extensive supporting program give Bad Herrenalb an atmospheric Christmas ambience.
Numerous exhibitors present their Christmas offerings in a cozy atmosphere: Wooden toys, fine homemade treats, ceramics and jewelry, gift ideas or Christmas decorations and numerous other handcrafted treasures. There is also an attractive program for younger visitors every year, including a sky mailbox and many other activities to marvel at and take part in.
Another highlight of the Advent market is the hay crib with life-size figures in the town hall vault, which is almost unique in Germany and opens its doors on both days. The scene is depicted here with the Holy Family, ox and donkey, a shepherd and lots of animals made of hay.
