From November 25, the whole of Karlsruhe is transformed into a Christmas town. The Christkindlesmarkt on the market square and Friedrichsplatz attracts visitors with lovingly decorated huts, a flying Santa Claus and a Ferris wheel. Right next to Friedrichsplatz, the “St. Stephan” children's land invites younger guests. The Stadtwerke Karlsruhe WINTERZEIT against the unique backdrop of Karlsruhe's baroque palace offers winter fun with ice skating and curling. At the traditional medieval Christmas market in the Durlach district, visitors can immerse themselves in the colorful hustle and bustle of knights, jugglers, musicians and all sorts of riders from earlier times. The “Winterzauber” transforms the “Anders auf dem Turmberg” courtyard bistro into the longest mulled wine bar in the city - including a dream view from the castle parapet.
