Public guided tour of the Evangelical City Church with crypt

The Protestant town church is located in the former Franciscan monastery of the town of Rastatt. The tour provides information about the history of the 300-year-old building, the life and work of the monks of the Franciscan order in Rastatt and their settlement in the time of Margravine Sibylla Augusta of Baden and their departure with the subsequent takeover of the church by the Protestant regional church. The church tour is rounded off with a look into the largely original crypt deep beneath the monastery grounds.
