Once again bathing in culture (until the end of September)

In August and September, the castle becomes the backdrop for events: From dances in the Garden Hall and historical games evenings to open workshops and themed tours. The free ‘Happy Fridays’, during which the curators guide visitors through their departments and provide exclusive insights, are a firm fixture in the calendar. A closing weekend is planned for 27 and 28 September 2025 - before the palace closes for several years for general refurbishment. Decorative elements and components from the exhibitions can then be purchased at a large auction. Despite the closure, the museum intends to maintain its presence: namely at other locations such as the Museum beim Markt in Karlsruhe, in the Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden or through digital offerings.
