Advent market - Bad Herrenalb

The annual Advent market heralds the start of the festive season in Bad Herrenalb. In a cosy atmosphere, numerous exhibitors present their Christmas offerings: wooden toys, fine homemade delicacies, ceramics and jewellery, gift ideas, Christmas decorations and many other handcrafted treasures.
The colourful stalls, atmospheric music in the spa gardens and an extensive supporting programme give Bad Herrenalb an atmospheric Christmas ambience. One highlight of the Advent market is not only the hay nativity scene with life-size figures in the town hall vault, which is almost unique in Germany and is open on both days. Here, the scene is depicted with the Holy Family, ox and donkey, a shepherd and lots of animals made of hay, but also the Stadtwerke Albleuchten, which transforms the spa gardens into a special world of lights.
