Kandel Christmas Market

The many festively decorated stalls run by artisans and restaurateurs, as well as the varied stage programme and activities for children, create a Christmassy atmosphere in a cosy setting.
Every year during Advent, Kandel is transformed into a brightly lit Christmas town for the whole family. Streets and shop windows are decorated, shining in festive splendour and inviting visitors to do their Christmas shopping.
In the centre of Kandel's Christmas world, numerous exhibitors open their lovingly decorated Christmas huts around St. George's Church. Many festively decorated houses with arts and crafts and food, the smell of mulled wine, Christmas music and a varied stage programme create a place to get together in a quaint and cosy atmosphere.
The range of products on offer varies slightly each weekend. It ranges from handicrafts for young and old made from various fabrics, wool, wood and other natural materials to garden nostalgia, ceramics and winter delicacies.
