Bühler Advent Market (daily until the 20.12)

The three-week Bühl Advent Market around St. Peter and Paul Parish Church and the two town halls is a traditional part of the pre-Christmas season in the town of Zwetschgenstadt. Starting on the Friday before the first Sunday in Advent, traders set up numerous attractive stalls in a cosy atmosphere, offering gift ideas such as arts and crafts. Mulled wine, bratwurst and culinary specialities are of course a must. Christmas trees are also sold on site.
Together with the town centre community ‘Bühl in Aktion’, the town of Bühl also organises an attractive accompanying programme, ranging from live music to hands-on activities for the youngest guests, for example in the ‘Adventszauber’ tent of the Mehrgenerationenhaus children's and family centre. Friday evenings have a special status, with concerts by regional bands from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
