Dance under the open sky and soak up the special atmosphere of balmy summer evenings. You can do just that in the heart of this Baroque town: on four Fridays during the summer, Rastatt’s market square turns into a dance floor for the ‘Dance under the Plane Trees’ event, from 7 pm to 10 pm. Free entry. Couple dancing and live performances included. The dance event will take place on 12 June, 3 July, 31 July and 11 September 2026.

Anastacia will kick off the open-air concerts in the courtyard of Rastatt’s Residenzschloss on Wednesday 1 July. On Thursday 2 July, Saltatio Mortis will blend music and myth on their “Staub & Schatten” tour. A day later, on Friday 3 July, Wincent Weiss will treat his fans to a perfect musical summer evening. On Saturday, 4 July, Marillion will present the best of their decades-long career. The Black Crowes will round off the Rastatt concert marathon on Sunday, 5 July, concluding the open-air concerts with rock and rhythm & blues at their very best with their only concert in Germany.

Night watchman’s tour with Bernhard Lohner: Dressed in period costume, he guides visitors through dark alleyways, recounts fascinating stories and brings the past to life. An atmospheric tour.

Live in the Park & Wine Night – 3–5 July 2026

Wine Night – 4 July 2026 from 7 pm in the grounds of Villa Wieser, Herxheim: Five winemakers will be presenting fine wines in the beautifully lit grounds. Live music by Oli Dums will set the mood. A delightful open-air experience on a summer evening – free entry!

Market criers at the fish market create a lively atmosphere: with humour and loud cries, they tout fresh fish and other goods – an entertaining experience full of North German charm.

At twelve stations, interested members of the public are shown how to use a divining rod and are informed about the effects of “earth rays” on the natural world and on human health (e.g. in the bedroom or workplace).

Theatre weekend in Dobel Spa Park: On 3 July, “Wickie and the Strong Men” will delight the whole family at 4 pm. This will be followed on 4 July at 8 pm by the swashbuckling adventure “The 3 Musketeers”. Open-air screening; in the event of rain, the event will take place in the Kurhaus, with street food available.
