From Speyer with its mighty imperial cathedral to the imposing fortress in Germersheim, this varied route leads along the Rhine, through shady forests and the lush fields of “Germany’s vegetable garden”. You’ll find farm shops selling fresh fruit and vegetables here.
Please note: the Cathedral & Fortress Loop is brand new and is still under construction. We expect to be able to provide you with the route from spring 2025.
